Our January Attendance Challenge begins Monday, January 5, when students return from winter break. We will officially kick off the challenge with a school-wide assembly on January 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the gym, where students will learn more about expectations and rewards.
As a reminder, to earn a Star Buck, students must be inside their classroom and in their seats, ready to learn by 9:00 a.m. Students who are still walking in the hallway at 9:00, using the restroom, or getting a drink will not receive a Star Buck for that day.
Being on time means students arrive prepared to begin learning right at 9:00. This helps minimize missed instruction and sets a positive tone for the day.
Please note that “Smarty Not Tardy” will not take place during the month of January, as we focus on building strong daily attendance and punctuality habits through this challenge.
